NRPs Improve Hook Load

SS3 NRP model type used: The low friction polymer exterior diminishes friction along the wellbore wall reducing drag and therefore increasing tripping in hook load. 
• 183 x SS3-500 NRPs were installed mid span: This mitigates buckling by centralizing the drill string and limits steel on steel contact points. 
• The extended reach well shown below was able to successfully land the 4 ½” liner without the need to rotate. Lockup would have occurred if a friction factor of 0.20 or higher was experienced and NRPs were not employed.
